Machinist assembles, repairs, and fabricates parts or components for tools or machines by operating mechanical equipment. Reads and interprets blueprints and design sketches to determine the precise specifications, dimensions, and tolerance levels of the finished product. Being a Machinist selects and operates the appropriate tools to cut, shape, or finish metal, plastic, or composite material. Sets up, services, and maintains equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation. Additionally, Machinist utilizes precision measuring instruments to check the accuracy and quality of machined parts. Assembles parts into sub-units or complete units as necessary. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Machinist works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Bharat Forge PMT is a growing, steel forging manufacturer with an in-house Tool shop which supports tooling for our Steel Forge, Aluminum Forging industry as well as other support departments throughout our company. We are seeking CNC Operators/CNC Machinist/Toolmaker.
.Successful candidates will have the ability to troubleshoot CNC programs for issues and errors and have a strong mathematical background. Requirements
This position requires a minimum of 5 years experience machining or technical degree; or completed a Toolmaker apprenticeship.

Able to read micrometers and various measuring equipment.
CAD experience is a plus.
