Mail Clerk receives, sorts and distributes incoming mail. Collects and processes outgoing mail. Being a Mail Clerk operates postage machine and other mailroom equipment as needed. Typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Mail Clerk typically reports to a Mailroom Supervisor. The Mail Clerk possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Clerical position, computer knowledge is a must, Ability to make copies. Ability to multi task.
Must be able to stand, walk , bend and twist lifting up to 40# per Ricoh requirement.
Will need 3 years employment history (verifiable or may use A-Check) and a 5 panel drug test.
Must be fully vaccinated.
Seeking candidate who will be .
A) Operating equipment that inserts letters into envelopes.
B) Sends to the printer the letters he/she will insert into the envelopes.
C) Keeps inventory of the paper and envelopes.
Will do both machine and hand insertion. Skills needed are Computer skills, mechanically inclined, self-starter, team player.
Performs duties related to the shipping of materials.
Performs duties related to the receiving of materials.
They be required to lift (up to 50lbs.)
This position may be able to go beyond the end date so potential is there. This position may not be available to public transportation.
