Mail Clerk receives, sorts and distributes incoming mail. Collects and processes outgoing mail. Being a Mail Clerk operates postage machine and other mailroom equipment as needed. The Mail Room Clerk is responsible for receiving, sorting, distributing and picking up incoming and outgoing mail on a daily basis.
Performs folding, inserting and sealing work using standard mailroom equipment (or manually as needed) to ensure timely delivery and pickup of Company mail.
Ensures proper maintenance practices are performed on all mail equipment. Postage funds monitored on a day to day basis.
May assist with other Facilities duties as needed by the department.
Receives mail from USPS, expedited delivery vendors or Contractors, sort’s mail accurately and delivers mail according to stated SLA.
Picks up company mail from designated locations at scheduled times during the day.
Minimum Education : High School diploma.
Minimum Experience : Minimum 6 months office experience.
