Position Details:

This direct hire role is a full time Shipping & Receiving Specialist and performs office services work in Chattanooga, TN.

Hours will be full time M-F 9:00AM- 6:00PM

Business professional dress code and standards are required

Hourly Compensation: $15.00 -15.00 USD per hour

Responsibilities

Mail Service Specialist:

• Process all incoming & outgoing USPS mail, FedEx/UPS packages & deliver throughout campus
• Operate Pitney Bowes mailing equipment
• Print, copy, scan documents
• Typing correspondence, copying, data entry, sorting mail and other administrative tasks as assigned
• Manage Office Supply Inventory
• Walking courier runs to pick up/drop off from post office and court house
• Lift large bundles of mail daily, overnight packages and shipments of paper - able to lift 35lbs
• Back up reception coverage
• Always try to do what’s right with a firm sense of integrity and ethics, behaving in a manner consistent with principles of moral conduct.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable means of transportation to - from work
• High school diploma or GED
• Customer Service/ Hospitality / Retail background preferred
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Keyboarding and windows environment PC skills
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
• Must be reliable
