Mail Clerk, Sr. receives, sorts and distributes incoming mail. Collects and processes outgoing mail. Being a Mail Clerk, Sr. operates postage machine and other mailroom equipment as needed. May supervise and guide work of lower level mail clerks. Additionally, Mail Clerk, Sr. typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a Mailroom Supervisor. The Mail Clerk, Sr. gains or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Works under moderate supervision.
