Mail Server Administrator administers and maintains the organization's email system(s). Monitors server performance and mail routing. Come work for a fast-paced, locally owned and operated Post Office, assisting customers with their shipping needs.
Perform any combination of tasks in a post office, such as receive letters and parcels; sell postage and revenue stamps, postal cards, and stamped envelopes; fill out and sell money orders; place mail in post office boxes; and examine mail for correct postage.
Keep till in order; record and balance daily transactions.
Weigh letters and parcels, compute mailing costs based on type, weight, and destination, and affix correct postage.
Register, certify, and insure letters and parcels.
Obtain signatures from recipients of registered or special delivery mail.
Sell and collect payment for products such as stamps, prepaid mail envelopes, and money orders.
Sort incoming and outgoing mail, according to type and destination.
This position is at a Contract Post Office, not a federal post office.
