Position: Controller

Job Description:

The Controller is responsible for the financial accounting and financial reporting for Intech Printing and Direct Mail. The Controller will be responsible for the preparation of financial statements, including annual and quarterly reports. The Controller will also be responsible for the preparation of budgets, forecasting, and forecasting process. The Controller will also be responsible for the preparation of financial forecasts and reports.

Essential Job Duties:
·Prepare financial statements and financial reports by reviewing accounting records, analyzing data, and preparing financial statements.
·Prepare budgets, forecasts, and forecasts process.
·Respond to requests from management regarding budgeting and forecasting.
·Respond to requests from management regarding financial reporting.
·Analyze trends in revenue and expenses to forecast future cash flows.
·Respond to requests from management regarding financial reporting.
·Analyze trends in sales, expenses, salaries, taxes, and other items to develop a general ledger system (GL).
·Prepare monthly journal entries by reviewing GL entries and reconciling accounts according to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
·Prepare monthly closing journal entries by analyzing GL balance sheets according to GAAP standards.
·Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:
·Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master’s degree preferred.
·A minimum of five years of experience in a similar role required; CPA certification preferred but not required.
·Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting; knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is a plus but not required. Knowledge of Excel is required for this position. Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus but not required. Knowledge of Sage 100 is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $79,000.00 per year
