We are a small packing and shipping company in San Rafael, California. We have been in business since 1988 and have many loyal customers. We can ship anything, anywhere. We provide an assortment of shipping solutions to meet any shipping need and our customers budget. We provide other in store services such as mailbox rentals, copy / fax / scan / email, shredding, key duplication, notary, fingerprinting and passport photos & expedited passports.

Hours of Operation:

Monday through Friday 8:30am-6:30pm, Saturdays 9am-5pm, Sundays 10am-3pm. Closed annually on the following Holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day

What is the Mail Center Retail Storefront Associate?

Responsible for providing excellent customer service to our customers to exceed their expectations.

• Be knowledgeable of products and services offered and properly promote them to customers.
• Open new mailboxes & close mailboxes per customer requests
• Receive, sort and process mail and packages for mailbox customers
• Assist with copying, faxing, printing, emailing, laminating and shredding documents
• Make copies of keys and take passport photos to specification
• Provide pick up, packing, and shipping quotes
• Process letter and package shipments
• Use point-of-sale computer system to check out customers, process cash, check and credit card transactions
• Provide notary & fingerprinting services
• Keep front of store clean and fully stocked
• Drive company vehicle to do pickups and deliveries
• Package items following general directions, using discretion when necessary
• Other assignments, as requested

Requirements:

• Required to walk and/or stand up to 8 hours per day
• Lift and/or carry items and packages 50 pounds'
• Must have a California Drivers License
• Must be able to pass a background search (for notary and fingerprinting services)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
