We specialize in 5 axis machining of components & assemblies for the aerospace & defense industries. We operate a modern 75,000SF air-conditioned facility equipped with 5 axis machining centers such as Matsuura, DMG and Mazak.

Job description

CAD/CAM Programmer - is responsible for utilizing Siemens NX CAD/CAM software to create and optimize NC programs, and produce advanced solid models & assemblies.

• Lead process development in high precision manufacturing opertations
• Review customer requirements and drawings, define work-holding, tooling and material requirements
• Create new NC programs utilizing Siemens NX CAD/CAM
• Optimize and modify existing programs to support on-going development
• Use Camplete software to post process, simulate and collision check programs
• Interact with production, quality and operations teams to produce conforming first articles and optimize programs

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years experience with CNC Programming
• Siemens NX experience is highly preferred but not required. Training can be provided.
• Ability to read complex blueprints and demonstrate high level GD&T knowledge (ASME Y14.5)
• Strong problem solving skills, ability to work as a team or independently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
