Computer Programmer

Objective:

After an initial training period working on the factory floor and studying both company and industry standards, you will work with our engineering team to add features to our product configuration software, check the configuration outputs in our CAD/CAM models, and expand the capabilities of our engineering software tools.

Responsibilities include:

• Write code to implement features in our development tool for the product configurator
• Implement solutions in the CAD/CAM system, SQL database, network operating systems, or other programming languages as appropriate
• Implement process improvements to automate the engineering workflow
• Support production and continuous improvement projects within the department and company
• Advanced research and development with product and process improvement teams
• Develop specifications and implementation plans for software enhancements and new features

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Programming
• Demonstrated aptitude with structured programming languages
• Excellent communication skills
• Track record of success in team environments
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM engineering tools
