Maintenance Planner devises plans and programs for routine preventative maintenance and scheduled turnaround events at a plant or production facility. Accurately defines and estimates required work requests and maintains a consistent tracking system for work orders. Being a Maintenance Planner develops inspection and survey procedures to ensure an effective preventative maintenance system. Works closely with technicians, engineers, operations, and managers to establish a schedule of proactive maintenance activities during appropriate downtime. Additionally, Maintenance Planner utilizes planning and scheduling methods to ensure the most effective and least disruptive maintenance possible. Typically uses a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for tracking and planning maintenance. Monitors spare parts inventory to ensure availability of required parts. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. May require a Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. PURPOSE:
Carries out the maintenance planning and management control activities. Prepares standard and ad-hoc reports in order to support the decision making process of different areas. Plans scheduled repairs (regular and annual) in accordance with the production plans and maintenance strategies.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
× Plans scheduled repairs (regular and annual) in accordance with the production plans and maintenance strategies.
× Prepares standard and ad-hoc reports in order to support the decision making process of different areas.
× Analyzes and controls technical specifications and requirements for maintenance contracts, ensuring compliance with user needs.
× Interacts and Coordinates with external services to fulfill internal user requirements/needs
× Follows up scheduled maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with user needs.
× Manages and updates the maintenance information system, keeping record of the information related to his/her area.
× Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
× Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area.
× Must be willing to work the shop as they will spend 60% of their time running the floor, finding solutions to problems, and holding employees to account.
QUALIFICATIONS:
× 2-3 years of experience in maintenance planning.
× The ideal candidate will have maintenance experience.
× MS Project knowledge .
× MS Excel proficient (VLOOKUPS, Pivot tables).
× SAP PM and SAP MM experience .
