Maintenance Planner, Sr. devises plans and programs for routine preventative maintenance and scheduled turnaround events at a plant or production facility. Accurately defines and estimates required work requests and maintains a consistent tracking system for work orders. Being a Maintenance Planner, Sr. develops inspection and survey procedures to ensure an effective preventative maintenance system. Works closely with technicians, engineers, operations, and managers to establish a schedule of proactive maintenance activities during appropriate downtime. Additionally, Maintenance Planner, Sr. utilizes planning and scheduling methods to ensure the most effective and least disruptive maintenance possible. Typically uses a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for tracking and planning maintenance. Monitors spare parts inventory to ensure availability of required parts. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. May require a Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Maintenance Planner, Sr. work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters.     What you will be doing... Your IMPACT

    • Create and maintain monthly boat fleet and budget reports, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
    • Monitor and analyze the boat fleet and performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.
    • Collaborate with the boat maintenance team to forecast resource requirements and make data-driven decisions for fleet optimization.
    • Develop and implement budget planning strategies to optimize resource allocation and control costs.
    • Prepare and present regular fleet and budget reports to management, providing insights and recommendations for improving fleet and budget performance.
    • Assist in the development and continuous improvement of our barge preventative maintenance (PM) program.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to support cost-saving measures and minimize disruption to services.
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, technologies, and opportunities for improving fleet efficiency and reducing costs.
