Maintenance Planner, Sr. devises plans and programs for routine preventative maintenance and scheduled turnaround events at a plant or production facility. Accurately defines and estimates required work requests and maintains a consistent tracking system for work orders. Being a Maintenance Planner, Sr. develops inspection and survey procedures to ensure an effective preventative maintenance system. Works closely with technicians, engineers, operations, and managers to establish a schedule of proactive maintenance activities during appropriate downtime. Additionally, Maintenance Planner, Sr. utilizes planning and scheduling methods to ensure the most effective and least disruptive maintenance possible. Typically uses a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for tracking and planning maintenance. Monitors spare parts inventory to ensure availability of required parts. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. May require a Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. POSITION SUMMARY
The role of Senior Buyer/Planner will focus on the procurement of technical, highly engineered components utilized in the Wireless Infrastructure Industry. The Sr. Buyer/Planner will ensure adherence to corporate standards, operational plans and Procurement goals including: RFQ's, negotiations, cost accountability, purchase order placement, resolution of supply issues to meet customer demand, resolution of invoicing issues, project execution, and attainment of Key Process Indicators (KPIs). The Sr. Buyer/planner will be responsible for determining sourcing options, supplier capability, make/buy analysis, cost analysis, planning levels, inventory accuracy, and maintaining material master/information records in the ERP system.
This role requires the ability to work in a fast paced, telecommunications environment with constant changes, manage several projects at once, demonstrating the ability to come up with creative approaches to complex challenges.
