Maintenance Planner, Sr. devises plans and programs for routine preventative maintenance and scheduled turnaround events at a plant or production facility. Accurately defines and estimates required work requests and maintains a consistent tracking system for work orders. Being a Maintenance Planner, Sr. develops inspection and survey procedures to ensure an effective preventative maintenance system. Works closely with technicians, engineers, operations, and managers to establish a schedule of proactive maintenance activities during appropriate downtime. Additionally, Maintenance Planner, Sr. utilizes planning and scheduling methods to ensure the most effective and least disruptive maintenance possible. Typically uses a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for tracking and planning maintenance. Monitors spare parts inventory to ensure availability of required parts. Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Bilingual Porter/Maintenance professional to join our team. As a Porter/Maintenance, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and functionality of our facilities, as well as assisting with various maintenance tasks. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as repairing equipment and fixtures
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any maintenance issues
- Clean and sanitize common areas, including restrooms, break rooms, and lobbies
- Assist with landscaping duties, including mowing lawns and trimming shrubs
- Handle basic electrical and plumbing repairs
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Respond to work orders in a timely manner
- Provide excellent customer service to tenants and visitors
- Supervise and coordinate external contractors for larger maintenance projects
Requirements:
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to read schematics
- Proficiency in basic welding techniques is preferred
- Familiarity with electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repairs
- Knowledge of logic controllers is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with tenants and colleagues
- Leadership qualities with the ability to supervise others effectively
