As the Maintenance Supervisor, You will be a part of the Facilities and Maintenance team and report to the VP of Facilities & Distribution responsible for supervision and performance of building and equipment maintenance. This is a first shift position (hours 6am until 3pm M-F) on-site at our Clearwater FL location. In this role, you will have the opportunity to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on building systems, utilities, and equipment at a warehouse / distribution center.
The position location is Clearwater, FL.

Responsibilities
- Performs facility related maintenance, inspections, repairs, and requests as necessary (including all buildings and grounds) if skills, training and or education permit; coordinates external contractors and utilization, as needed; performs work related requests and general maintenance items with ability to prioritize upon receipt
- Develops, establishes, and implements preventative maintenance policies, procedures, systems, and schedules for all equipment, as needed. This will include maintaining complete and accurate documentation according to established policies and procedures, and/or OSHA regulations and requirements.
- Regularly plan and oversee work of contracted vendors (e.g. pest control, security, janitorial and others)
- Coordinate work with supporting or related work functions controlled by other supervisors and departments.
- Ensure clear and timely communications for all activities within the facilities department.
- Ensure employees are in strict compliance with safety procedures and promptly resolves observed and/or reports identified violations within established guidelines
- Works with all levels of management to ensure employee safety, to include employee safety related items such as fire drills, fire system annual inspections, fire extinguisher annual inspections, etc.
- Maintains regular, predictable, consistent attendance and is flexible to meet the needs of the department.
- Respond promptly to facility emergencies, such as power outages, leaks, or equipment failures
- Implement corrective measures to minimize downtime.
- Develops and maintains a facilities budget with the Manager

Qualifications
- Minimum five years maintenance experience required (some combination of Construction, Electrical, HVAC, or related field preferred). Previous experience in commercial or industrial facilities maintenance is a plus
- Education – High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- Forklift experience required (CCS can provide re-certifications) and must possess a valid driver’s license
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to draft routine reports and correspondence; ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
