US Underground Driller and Driller Assistant

Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old or older
• Have a strong commitment to safety and poses a high level of accuracy while working independently with commitment to a team approach
• Pass pre-employment background check, physical and drug screening and continue to work in a drug and alcohol-free environment
• Understand the nature of hard work and be able to work extended hours continuously underground.
• Be able to lift 100 pounds
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Driller and Driller Assistant duties include, but are not limited to:

• Drilling various types of Exploration and definition holes
• Perform and document maintenance and repairs on company equipment and vehicles
• Prepare daily drill reports of all drilling activities. These reports reflect footage drilled, time spent performing other activities besides drilling, time keeping for payroll purposes, reporting supplies consumed etc.
• Perform and document daily pre shift inspections
• Maintain production and accuracy standards and timeline requirements
• Operate a drilling rig 10-12 hours per day up to 7 days per week. Schedules are typically 20 days on, 10 days off and 14 days on, 7 days off.
