Devises and executes plans to qualify, contact, and cultivate potential new donors. Being a Major Gift Director - Higher Ed. requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a department/division. The Major Gift Director - Higher Ed. manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.     Minimal Acceptable Job Qualifications:

    Education: Successful completion of a radiological diagnostic education from an accredited program.

    Registration/Certification/Licensure:

    Current Indiana State Radiation Machine Operators License and current registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) at date in position

    or

    Current Radiology Student Radiation Machine Operators Permit. Indiana Radiology Student Radiation Machine Operators Permits must be replaced with an Indiana State Radiation Machine Operators License within six months of graduation from a certified Radiologic School. New graduate students must have American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration within six months of date in position.

    In addition --

    Current registration from American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Computed Tomography (ARRT CT) certification within 12 months of date in position

    Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required within six months of date in position


    Job Knowledge & Skills:

    • Requires thorough working knowledge of computerized tomography including cross-sectional anatomy, physics of CT imaging and equipment operation.
    • Requires general working knowledge of normal growth, etc.
    • Demonstrates strong analytical skills and well-developed communication and interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with all internal and external unit customers as needed.
    • Demonstrates working knowledge of the English language, both verbal and written.
