Respond to inquiries and communicate with donors, advisory organization members, Salvation Army employees and leaders. The position has direct oversight for a team of professionals and will be responsible for training, mentoring and accountability of its members.   There is required day and overnight travel within the three-state region and covering these areas (Jackson, Vicksburg, Monroe, and Shreveport). This position will be based in Jackson, MS.   You are an ideal match for the role if you have: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (preferably in a related field of study) and five years’ experience performing progressively responsible fundraising work in a charitable organization with demonstrated successful fundraising and donor relations, and three years’ supervisory work in a major gifts environment. Experience in leading a team of fund-raising professionals. Proven history of establishing and maintaining strong long-term donor relationships. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Track record of achieving goals. Prior experience with a donor management system.
