Purpose of position is to raise funding resources for the 360 Lewis House Campaign and to develop and implement the agency's major gifts strategy. As part of the Development Team, this position manages a portfolio of donors and prospects with a focus on securing gifts of $25,000 and above.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Demonstrate commitment to the agency’s mission statement and core values at all times. The mission statement is “360 Communities delivers safety and stability that improves lives.” Support culture of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging.

Design, implement and lead agency strategies for attracting and securing major gifts and higher-level organizational support. Major gifts defined as $25,000 or greater. Prospects include individuals, organizations, and foundations.

Achieve annual and long-term financial goals of major giving. Threshold of funding resources necessary to meet capital campaign project dollars and expansion of 360 Communities services.

Formulate and implement solicitation strategies for prospect portfolios, including writing, presenting, and managing proposals.

Develop and manage a portfolio of 50 prospects comprised of the agency’s major donors.

Meet with prospects, establish relationships, solicit and receive major gift donations.

Work with leadership, Development team, employees, and volunteers to identify and qualify prospects for giving.

Assign and assist leaders in managing respective prospect portfolios. Track major gift donations, and guide leaders in nurturing on-going relationship.

Assist in annual 360 Communities fundraising events.

Participate in outreach events, networking and identifying potential major gift donors.

Actively participate in board fundraising committee meetings.

Serves on the Leadership Team.

Instill a sense of accountability among team members by modeling oversight of individual and organization performance standards.

Partner with Directors and Managers to implement professional development initiatives.

Assist Director of Development in managing department. This includes assistance in maintaining annual department budget, achieving department goals for planned giving fund raising, revenue, providing direction and training to Development team, and promoting cross training of Development team for growth of employees and department efficiencies.

Qualifications
Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Fund Development, Business or other equivalent field related degree required. Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum five years’ experience required in major gifts and foundation donations. Proven track record of securing and increasing number and amount level of gifts and donations including ability to achieve capital project campaign funding. Additional experience in planned giving, leading and promoting annual fundraising events, and managing a Development department a plus.

Computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Results Plus, Boomerang or other equivalent software tracking systems required.

Must possess Personal Auto Insurance limits of $100,000/$300,000/$100,000 or a combined single limit of $300,000.
