Major Gifts Manager manages and implements a philanthropic gift program to nurture and solicit relationships with corporate, institutional, and major donors. Develops a portfolio of existing and potential donors and a strategy to enhance and extend relationships to generate philanthropic revenue. Being a Major Gifts Manager organizes events and meetings with prospects to raise awareness of the organization's mission and highlight accomplishments and ongoing funding needs. Makes regular personal contact with key contributors to strengthen relations with the organization. Additionally, Major Gifts Manager oversees proposal preparation and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Major Gifts Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Stevenson School seeks a Major Gifts and Campaign Manager, with immediate start. Reporting to the Director of Advancement, the major gifts and campaign manager (MGCM) will hold primary responsibility for the strategic and tactical management of all components of the School’s major gifts program and capital campaign. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is a strategic and creative thinker who thrives in dynamic environments and exhibits an enthusiasm to take on additional responsibility to achieve results. Thorough understanding of both the major gift and capital campaign fundraising cycle is a must. Management experience is a plus. This is a year-round, full-time position with some evening and weekend event attendance required. A hybrid schedule may be possible.

The anticipated salary range for the position is $80,000 - $100,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to competitive salary, Stevenson is pleased to provide a comprehensive benefits package including Anthem Blue Cross health insurance plans and generous retirement plan contributions. Housing support is offered for eligible employees who work on site. On campus lunch is provided daily for all employees when school is in session.
