Mammography Technologist jobs in Norfolk, VA

Sentara Norfolk General hospital is hiring for a Part-Time Mammography Technologist.

Shift/Hours: Hours: 7am - 3:30pm but can be any 8 hour shift between 6:30am - 4:30pm. This position will also be part of Saturday rotation 7:45am - 12:00pm. At least 3 days/week.

Position Details and Requirements:

Perform and analyze all diagnostic and interventional Mammography Procedures.  Perform all quality control and quality assurance standards as prescribed by all state, federal, and local agencies.  Provide the best patient care and practice radiation safety standards at all times.

Required Education:

Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology

Licenses and Certifications

Required: ARRT registry in Mammography, ARRT registry in Radiography, Basic Life Support. ARRT Registered or Registry eligible graduate in lieu of ARRT, must obtain registry within 90 days of hire.
