Mammography Technologist operates specialized X-ray equipment and performs various mammography related procedures including screenings and diagnostic studies. Develops and evaluates the film for technical quality such as density contrast, definition, and distortion. Being a Mammography Technologist creates and maintains patient records and files according to required procedure. Cleans and adjusts equipment as needed. Additionally, Mammography Technologist requires an associate degree or completion of a formal radiologic technology training program. Typically reports to a chief technologist or manager. Requires American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)Diagnostic Mammography. Mammography Technologist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Cedar Park Med is recruiting for Mobile Mammography Technologists for immediate openings.
The job is on the mobile mammography van, so the candidate must have the ability to travel. This position will require travel throughout various counties and varied hours to accommodate patients.
The counties include but are not limited to Onondaga, Oswego, Jefferson, St. Lawrence, Herkimer, Oneida, Madison, Cayuga, Cortland & Seneca.
Days and hours to be determined, must be flexible. 8-10hrs a day, but not more than 40 hours per pay week.
