Managed Care Finance Director jobs in Kansas City, MO
Managed Care Finance Director directs and oversees all policies and procedures for the financial and data operations of managed care contracts. Manages contracts, negotiates and sets rates, and reviews reimbursement levels and managed care agreements to ensure that proper payment practices are utilized. Being a Managed Care Finance Director implements processes that encourage and inform the organization how to increase levels of reimbursements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Managed Care Finance Director typically reports to top management. The Managed Care Finance Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Managed Care Finance Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections.
We are currently seeking a part-time Medication Aide Level 1 (MO) to join our team at Moberly Correctional Center located in Moberly, Missouri.
The Level 1 Medication Aide (Medical) (Missouri) works under the direction of the facility Director of Nursing (DON) or their nursing designee, administers medications as prescribed, and documents the medication effectiveness and any noted adverse reactions or side effects.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Current / active Level 1 Medical Aide certification from the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) or the Department of Mental Health (DMH), which may also be referred to as DD Medication Aide (, required
- Insulin certification required
- Required completion of continuing education to maintain certification (minimum of four (4) hours of medication administration training every two (2) years);
required training will be documented and maintained in Employee File
- One (1) year of experience in acute care, emergency, or correctional setting preferred
- Must show / obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use
