Sampson Regional is seeking a full-time board certified (Family Medicine preferred) physician to join its community Convenient Care. Sampson Convenient Care is located within a half mile of the main hospital and ER. With an average daily volume of 25-35, the walk-in clinic treats patients of all ages for a range of acute conditions. Appointments may also be made to build a patient volume. We seek a skilled and experienced candidate who is comfortable with being the solo provider and who maintains a strong focus and commitment to providing outstanding and compassionate care to all patients.
Highlights Include:
• Open 5 days a week: Monday thru Thursday 8 am-5 pm, Friday 8 am-12 pm
• Excellent work-life balance-No call requirements, or overnight shifts!
• Provider may be expected to work extended evening hours or rotating weekends as practice grows
• Convenient, walk-in care provided for non-life-threatening injuries to both adult and pediatric patients
• Common needs treated include-respiratory conditions, digestive conditions, urinary conditions, skin conditions, lacerations and sprains, drug testing, IV fluids,
immunizations, injections, sutures, x-ray (with the radiologist looking behind), and lab
testing
• Work injuries in Sampson County as well as follow-ups with patients
