Managed Care Provider Relations Manager develops, manages, and sustains relationship with members of physician network of managed care service providers. Recruits new physicians and manages the credentialing and orientation process. Being a Managed Care Provider Relations Manager serves as a resource for physicians, answering questions and providing information about network procedures or contracts. Monitors provider performance and resolves any issues. Additionally, Managed Care Provider Relations Manager reviews billings and claims payments according to managed care contracts. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to the head of a unit/department. The Managed Care Provider Relations Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Managed Care Provider Relations Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Woodfords Family Services is currently seeking to train and license individuals and couples as Therapeutic Foster Parents!


    Who We Are

    Woodfords Family Services is a nonprofit organization that's been committed to the support and inclusion of people with special needs and their families in Maine communities for over 55 years! Today, the organization provides an array of clinical, behavioral health and educational programs to more than 2,000 children, youth and adults living with autism, developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities and/or mental health diagnoses across the state of Maine.


    Summary

    Woodfords' Therapeutic Foster Program provides treatment-level foster care to children 3-21 years with developmental and/or emotional disabilities who cannot reside with their biological family.

    As a Therapeutic Foster Parent, you will serve an integral part in this process, by providing a nurturing and safe environment for a child in the foster care system to live, learn, and thrive in. As the primary caregiver, you will support a child placed in your home and support in the following:

    • Oversee medical appointments, medication administration, transportation to and from appointments, and activities, as well as the day-to-day and direct care services.
    • Oversee and support family reunification & family visits.
    • Oversee the child's educational needs.
    • Serve as a key member of the Therapeutic Foster Care Program working independently and cooperatively with a team.

    As a Therapeutic Foster Family Provider with Woodfords, you get....

    Qualifications

    • May be married, single, or partnered.
    • 21 years of age or older.
    • Currently rent or own a residence in Maine.
    • Have spare bedroom in your home for a child or teen.
    • Have experience as state-licensed family foster parent (at least 1 year) OR work experience (at least 6 months) with children and/or teens.
    • Must successfully complete introductory training.
    • Possess a willingness to work with birth parents, service providers and service agencies.
    • Supportive, flexible, and committed to helping children in foster care and their families.
    • Possess effective parenting skills and willingness to learn and adapt.
