Job Overview:
We are a Family Group Day Care that's seeking a dedicated and passionate Daycare Teacher/Assistant to join our team. As a Daycare Teacher/Assistant, you will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for children while promoting their physical, emotional, and intellectual development. Duties:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for children
- Supervise and engage children in educational and recreational activities
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
- Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the daycare facility
- Assist with mealtime routines and ensure proper nutrition for children
- Administer basic first aid when necessary
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior

Requirements:
- Must have at least two to three (2-3) years experience in a day care setting, babysitting, or working with students

- You will need to be background checked and fingerprinted by the state
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Familiarity with childhood development stages
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
- Ability to maintain a safe and clean environment for children
- First aid certification is preferred but not required
