Community Healthcare System is hiring a Managed Care Contracting Analyst!

Full-time, remote position, onsite for training. 

Job Description:

The Managed Care Contracting Analyst is a strategic partner who will help evaluate and negotiate managed care contracts with commercial and governmental payers on behalf of Community Healthcare System and its related entities.  The Analyst will manage business relationships and serve as a liaison to resolve issues and ensure contractual compliance for contracted entities. The Managed Care Contracting Analyst will maintain information flow in the managed care process for assigned health plans.

 Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, management, accounting, health management or other related field is required.  Masters’ degree in Business or Healthcare Administration preferred.
• 2-4 years of financial, managed care or other related experience
• An analytical background is preferred.
• Experience with health plan contract modeling and Epic Contract Management is preferred.
• Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite products (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word, Visio).
• Must demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills both written; Ability to exercise independent judgment when working with individuals with different points of view on critical issues.
• Must possess working knowledge of contractual, administrative, health insurance and operational issues related to managed care organizations, physician groups, hospitals and health insurance benefit plan designs.
