The Clinical Assistant Supervisor participates as an active team member in a clinical assistant role while overseeing the day to day operations of TVHC’s clinical assistants. The Clinical Assistant Supervisor is responsible for such duties as hiring, orientation, training, scheduling and progressive discipline of TVHC employees, in conjunction with the Clinic Director. The Clinical Assistant Supervisor ensures Clinic protocols are adhered to as well as TVHC policies.

• Bachelor of Science in related field, or Licensed LPN or RN
• Minimum of 4 years of experience working in a clinic in similar role
• A combination of medical office background and clinical/surgical experience
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Excellent interpersonal skills with patients, families, as well as internal and external health care professionals
• Experience using Microsoft office such as Word, Outlook and Excel
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to maintain and follow guidelines, set standards of practice in quality patient care, and state, federal, and facility required infection control practices
• BLS preferred or obtain within 30 days of hire.
