JOB DESCRIPTION
Nurse Supervisors are primarily responsible for overseeing day to day patient care, supervising, directing, and developing nurse staff. Reporting to the Director of Nursing to ensure quality patient care within a long-term care center, skilled nursing facility or assisted living community. Manage registered nurses, certified nursing assistants and licensed practical nurses, as well as medical administrative personnel. The Nurse Supervisor shall perform a variety of direct and indirect nursing services to meet the personnel needs and promote the well-being of the residents in accordance with acceptable nursing practices and the policies of the facility.
