Comforting Home Care by Phoebe is a premier non-medical home care agency, seeking a compassionate scheduling supervisor. This is a Part Time in the office position for our Wernersville, PA office. The ideal candidate will be compassionate and dedicated to providing quality customer service to our Clients and Caregivers. This position has evening on-call responsibilities 2 to 3 evenings a week and requires working Saturdays and Sundays in a rotating schedule with the other Direct Care Supervisors. The daytime in office hours for the position are between the hours of 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. We are seeking an individual that enjoys helping others, wants to make a difference, and is compassionate. This position is searching for the right candidate that enjoys working on a daily basis and providing quality customer service and care.

SUPERVISOR ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Coordinates the schedules for Direct Care Workers and Clients on an on-going basis taking into consideration the number of hours approved and requested.
• Works closely with nurses and clients/families to ensure optimum staffing.
• Provides on-call support some evenings during the week, along with working every other weekend, and Holidays.
• Completes general office tasks such as answering phones, greeting visitors, scheduling, etc. Identifies staffing needs and reports needs to the nurses.
• Practices and promotes positive staff, client, and family relations.
• Monitors and ensures that staff, clients, and families have resources for effective and efficient services.
• Practices and promotes patient/family advocacy and facilitates the maintenance of ethical practice.
• Maintains employee and client files including tracking and reporting on missing/deficient items. Completes and maintains documentation, files, and records as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in scheduling or staffing is preferred. Previous experience as a direct care worker would be beneficial but is not required.
• Must have PA Driver's License
