POSITION SUMMARY:
Located in the Boston office, our Policy Search Analysts play a major role in supporting the manager of our policy search unit. A significant aspect of our claim and litigation support work involves detailed, complex research to locate evidence of liability insurance policies, particularly in the context of environmental and asbestos claims. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities, meet aggressive deadlines, and work with minimal supervision.
DUTIES:

Analyze, investigate, and evaluate information provided by the Claims organization in order to properly initiate and manage policy searches.

Works with multiple policy search teams to find copies or other evidence of alleged policies where appropriate.

Excellent word processing and spreadsheet skills are required to effectively summarize and communicate search result findings.

Takes initiative and has the ability to manage daily schedules with multiple deadlines.

Possesses the interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with a diverse group of adjusters, attorneys, and clients.

Effectively and efficiently summarizes a large amount of information in order to document search findings and identify any deficiencies to be addressed.

Provides and obtains information and performs tasks with courtesy and respect.

Maintains knowledge of policy search processes and procedures.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree required.
EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of two years in an employment environment demonstrating the performance requirements set forth above preferred.
