Remote/office: it a 50-50 split currently, with 2-3 days in the office, be it Sterling Heights or Troy

Company: Tier 1 automotive supplier, multi-national, 32 plants in USA and 68 globally
Components assembly : automotive exterior components (metal and plastic) manufacturing and assembly
Travel percentage : 5%........ with opportunity to travel if the hired employees likes to other regional payroll sites.
Candidates considered : USA citizens, Green Card Holder, and TN Visa
Position: Full Time Direct Hire / Permanent
Salary: up to $90,000
Overtime Pay : No, EXEMPT role
Bonus: yes, discretionary year end
Educational requirements: prefer college degree, but not necessary
Reports to: Director of HR Payroll

Why is it open? New position created my company, new role for North America coverage (32 plants)
Experience needed: must have Ceridian payroll experience, from a Super-User or Systems Admin level, not just a user of the payroll software. Must have at least 2 modules experience within Ceridian, with the more the better. Looking for at least 5 years in HRIS payroll systems, with at least 18 months to 2 years working within Ceridian.

Responsibilities
- Maintain the confidentiality of personal employee information, company information, records, and related issues in accordance with all the applicable laws.
- Configuration and testing of the Ceridian system during the implementation project.
- Ongoing configuration and testing of the Ceridian system beyond the implementation project.
- Configuring workflows, reports, and other forms in the Ceridian system.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- The incumbent is responsible for the awareness, understanding, specific responsibilities and management of the Environmental Management System (EMS) as stated in EMS policy CEVPL.00005.
- The incumbent is responsible for the awareness, understanding, specific responsibilities and management of the Quality Management System (QMS) as stated in CQAM.00001 Corporate Quality Manual.
Qualifications
- Four-year College Degree preferred
- Three to Five years' experience in Human Resources or Payroll
- Three to Five years' of Ceridian system administration experience
- Three to Five years' payroll processing experience
- Three to Five years' years of human resources administration experience an asset
- Ability to read, write and speak English effectively
- Basic Mathematical skills
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Team-oriented individual with an attention to detail
- Strong analytical ability
- Demonstrated good internal customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects
