Job Summary:  To assist the fiscal team at Elemental Management Group.  Responsibilities include but not limited to, general accounting functions, accounts payable assistance, project support, audit and regulatory support, fixed assets support, cash/AR reconciliation, and other accounting related responsibilities.

Roles and Responsibilities: 

• Assist the fiscal team by researching line items in the financial statements to determine whether additional support is needed by the buildings
• Researching Accounts Payable vendors routinely to ensure consistency and maximum efficiency is obtained by streamlining vendor usage, and AP invoice processing
• Reconcile cash monthly with the AR team
• Assist in the sales tax reporting on a quarterly basis
• Assist in the generation of schedules for the Medicare and Medicaid cost reporting on an annual basis
• Assistance in the annual audit process
• Cross-train and assist if needed, with the account payable team to ensure proper coverage is obtained for increased account payable situations
• Assistance with resident account reconciliation when needed by the Financial Analyst
• Pull together supporting schedules for the month end closing as needed
• Quality Assurance audits for the buildings as needed on a monthly basis
• Other accounting and office related duties as assigned
