MANAGEMENT ANALYST

  • Duties

    • You will assist supervisors to develop and update Position Descriptions (PD).
    • You review Directorate programs of leave, retirement, recruitment, and on-the-job injuries and analyzes them to determine trends, effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance with mission requirements.
    • You will develop and submit Recruit Position Checklists to the Manpower Office.
    • You will prepare and submit appropriate documents when offering a superior qualification appointment, a recruitment or relocation bonus, pay retention, and other situations involving pay and approval by the Managing Payroll Authority (MTP).
    • You will work with key management officials in a manner that inspires respect and confidence in the final decision.

    Qualifications

    Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector monitoring personnel actions, advising leadership on personnel issues and recruiting methods, assisting supervisors in classifying positions, and preparing and submitting justifications for superior qualifications and relocation, retention, and recruitment incentives.

    Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

    This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
