Management Development Manager leads and directs the creation of a leadership development strategy and programs that align with strategic business imperatives and develop management capabilities throughout the workforce. Identifies, designs, and develops frameworks that represent skills and leadership capabilities critical to long-term and short-term objectives. Being a Management Development Manager aligns training, coaching, professional development, and experiential assignments to the leadership development strategy. Develops approaches to engage individuals in well-defined and ongoing career development. Additionally, Management Development Manager define career paths and supporting training and development programs. Fosters a culture of informal knowledge exchange, coaching, and training to engage and develop the workforce. Conducts periodic succession planning and talent assessments to ensure critical roles are defined. Creates slates of individuals identified for leadership development activities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Management Development Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Management Development Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Apartment Maintenance Technician

  • We have an immediate need for experienced Apartment Community Maintenance Technician to join our team in Richmond, KY.

    Evening Hours and weekends are required during on-call rotation for emergency service calls.

    Job Summary:

    To assist in the inspection, repair and maintenance of all buildings, apartments, common area facilities, grounds, and equipment related to the property and to ensure that health and safety procedures are adhered to in order to provide residents and colleagues with a safe, positive and sanitary living environment.

    Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

    • Perform all interior and exterior repairs to maintain apartments, common areas, buildings and grounds according to established procedures.
    • Regularly communicate with property manager as to status of service requests, make ready units, etc.
    • Complete vacant units to make ready status per established procedures.
    • Understand and review make ready board daily
    • Ensure assigned work orders are completed within 48 hours.
    • Assist in performing all snow removal
    • Continually monitor budgeted maintenance expenses.
    • Ensure that all Federal, State and County Health and Safety Codes, Laws, and Standards are adhered to.
    • Regularly inspect laundry facilities, common area rest rooms, playgrounds, etc. to ensure proper functioning and cleanliness.
    • Maintain maintenance shop in a neat and orderly manner at all times.
    • Respond to and correct after hour emergencies on a timely basis.
    • Participate in on call rotation with other team members.
    • Understand and adhere to all Fair Housing laws.
    • Maintain professional conduct and appropriate uniform at all times.
    • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    Qualifications Required:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Valid Driver's License required
    • 1-2 years facility maintenance experience, multi-family preferred
    • Working knowledge in plumbing, electrical, and general building trades
    • Must own personal tools to perform basic apartment maintenance
    • HVAC certification
