We are looking for a Managing Partner to lead Rí Rá Irish Pub, our bar and restaurant in the center of downtown Burlington, VT. The Rí Rá business also includes "The Burlington Whiskey Room", a small brown spirits led concept attached to the main pub. The business has a strong food and beverage base, as well as a high volume late night component with entertainment. The location also has a seasonal patio.
This role requires a depth of experience in bar and restaurant management, along with an "owner-operator" mentality and entrepreneurial approach. This position is ultimately responsible for all facets of the day-to-day running of the business, and as such the ideal candidate should be well versed in the operational, sales building and cost control aspects of running a high volume food and beverage concept. This position will report directly to the owners of the business.

- You ideally have an educational background with a focus in the hospitality field
What You Will be Doing
- Assuming 100% responsibility and accountability for the business
- Leading the financial (sales building and cost control), operational and personnel components of the business, both Front and Back of House
- Acting as a spokesperson when representing the brand and business at a local level
- Establishing, nurturing and maintaining trusted relationships with employees, guests, community groups, societies, vendors and local authorities
- Ensuring that all local and state laws are followed as related to the service of food and alcohol, employment and the facility in general
