The Managing Editor manages a group of writers, freelancers, and research assistants. Oversees the design and content of several publications. Being a Managing Editor is responsible for publication schedule planning and budget control.     A glimpse of your daily mission:

    • Lead and grow Haworth Switzerland and its product lines with full P/L responsibility. Own the KPI's linked to the achievements. Exemplify economical use of resources.

    • Continuously improve processes and operations by means of IT infrastructure.

    • Encourage and develop agile teams and foster resourcefulness and forward-looking attitude in view of changing consumer behavior.

    • Develop and implement business strategies and objectives in close collaboration with international peers. Understand the dynamics of the business to effectively translate insights into innovation and program execution.

    • Ensure effective sales force with customer centric approach. Drive sales and profitable growth in key areas through all sales channels.

    • Act as ambassador for Haworth and create new ideas and concepts to improve proximity to customers and long-term relationships.


    Your Qualifications:


    • Master's degree in Business Administration.

    • 10 years of leadership and sales experience required, preferably within office furniture. Strong local network within ecosystem or ability to develop high level relationships within relevant industries.

    • Visible change agent and transformational leader in a local vs multinational environment with effective collaboration across multiple layers. Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills.

    • Strong financial acumen with the knowledge of P/L drivers throughout the value chain.

    • Agility and flexibility to changing market environment, consumer behavior and trends. Ability to think critically, provide and follow through on solutions.

    • Solid project management and organizational skills to drive a cross-functional team to deliver sustainable results.

    • Ability to multi-task and maneuver between high level strategic thinking and detail orientation.

    • Clear, frequent, candid communication and presentation skills.

    • Full IT literacy.

    • Fluency in German and English is a must, French is a plus.
