Description:

• Copyediting and proofreading for grammar, spelling, punctuation, style, etc., with a high degree of accuracy and without introducing errors or compromising the technical meaning
• Formatting presentations (e.g., template/colors, spacing, alignment)
• Reviewing for legal issues (copyright and trademark violations) and branding or messaging violations
• Adjusting the level of edit and shifting priorities depending on project length, time allotted, deadlines, and other factors
• Working directly with presenters on last-minute changes to content in high-pressure environments
• Periodically participating in editorial meetings with editors and successfully completing assigned trainings

• Expert skill level with Microsoft PowerPoint
• Demonstrated customer-service orientation
• Experience performing legal compliance reviews on content
• Demonstrated ability to manage large volumes of work with minimal oversight and under tight deadlines
• Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills
• Ability to learn and work quickly with high accuracy
• Ability to perform a reasonable level of self-directed research to make editorial decisions
• Ability to discuss edits with content creators in a confident, helpful, and professional manner,

knowing when to push back and when to reasonably compromise
