Job Summary

As a Machine Assistant, you will be responsible to work safely while under the direction of the machine operator. This position requires mastering the Packager duties. Packager duties are critical to operating a machine effectively while manufacturing finished products for our customers. Other duties may be required.

Job Descriptions

• Read all job requirements and follow instructions accurately
• Band skids with either metal or plastic banding
• Select the proper skid size, banding, and roll orientation as specified by the job requirements
• Label individual rolls uniformly and stretch wrap skids neatly
• Weigh skids, record skid information, neatly place address labels to finished skid
• Operate forklifts to move skids, store inventory, or move inventory from racks to machines

• Proficiency in adding and subtracting whole numbers and simple fractions
• The ability to work 8 to 10 hours a day
• The ability to work from 8:00 pm - 6:00 am or 10:00 pm-6:00 am Sunday-Thursday

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
