Works under the general direction of the Customer Operations and Contract Administration Manager to manage and administer contacts within the Information Technology Services Department. Contracts vary in scope but will focus on strategic partnerships and Authority revenue sources. Collaboration with internal subject matter experts, along with legal personnel is required. Other tasks include, but are not limited to, develop vendor relationships, negotiate pricing, purchasing, and contract renewals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understands the procurement needs of the Information Technology Services Department to ensure efficiency and compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Ability to develop and maintain an IT Contract Life Cycle Management System.
- Apply communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and apply solid contract principles in protecting the Authority’s interest.
- Review, monitor, and track software/hardware maintenance contracts, professional service agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and statement of work agreements for pricing, performance and accurate/timely billing.
- Review, monitor, negotiate, and track inventory and associated revenue streams such as fiber, cellular, and video assets.
- Ability to navigate in the Authority’s Enterprise Resource Planning System (PeopleSoft Financials) in order to create, modify, and retrieve data.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Understanding of Information Technology systems and terminology.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Understanding of service delivery models.
- Must have minimum 7 years of experience in contract administration w/a strong financial background.
- Ability to work with diverse teams.
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
- Excellent negotiating skills.
- Possess a valid New Jersey driver's license.
