    The Contract Administrator is responsible for processing contracts post award, managing change, providing a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers; and working with dealers. This position is responsible for translating the voice of the customer into a high quality apparatus which protects lives and property. The Sales Coordinator must be able to handle multiple contracts at one time in a fast paced project environment. The key internal output of the Sales Coordinator is to provide a clean specification for engineering to design from. It is the sales coordinator’s responsibility to manage the flow of information from the customer to internal stake holders.


    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:

      • Manage assigned contracts
      • Attend all project design and contract meetings as needed to complete project.
      • Coordinate with dealers and customers proactively to prevent possible schedule delays.
      • Effectively manage change and process change orders
      • Estimating and custom pricing post award
      • Attend pre-build meetings with production supervisors as needed.
      • Maintain smooth and efficient flow of information between customer and internal stakeholders.
      • Maintain and keep project files up to date
      • Effectively prioritize work based on business needs
      • Provide periodic updates to management on all projects
      • Provide the highest level of internal and external customer service to all stake holders
      • Attend operational meetings as required.
      • Maintain strong communications between all areas of the organization to maximize operational efficiencies and profits.
      • Utilize other computer programs to perform the duties of the position
      • Demonstrates positive / disciplined attitude both on a personal and business level.
      • Ability to initiate positive conversation with current customers and prospective customers as well as fellow employees.
      • Discipline to stay updated on who’s who in our industry. I.e. trade publications, competitors
      • Other duties as assigned


    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Bachelor’s degree and 5 years related or equivalent experience preferred.

    Previous Project Management or Account Management experience preferred.

    Detail oriented with strong analytical, communication, and problem solving skills.

    Excellent communication and negotiation skills; both written and verbal.

    Energetic, motivated, team player, professional.

    Ability to multi-task, effective time management skills

    Fluent in English, both written and oral.

    Efficient computer skills in MS office, Outlook and other software programs.


    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time and stand and walk occassionally. The associate frequently is required to talk or hear. The associate is required to reach with hands and arms. Work will require frequent use of computer, telephone, and general office equipment.


    The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds occassionally. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.


    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    General office environment. The noise level ranges from quiet to moderate. Environment may be warm or cool, depending on weather and other factors. Some exposure to production environment.

    SCHEDULE:

    Hours depend on business and department needs. All positions are subject to overtime as needed. Overtime can be scheduled by adding additional days to the scheduled days for the week or by extending the hours worked. See a supervisor for information on overtime worked in a particular department.


    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    This job has no supervisory responsibilities. The associate may be asked to assist in the training of new associates on specific duties.
