Electronics Manufacturing Director Description

Our client in the electronics manufacturing industry is looking for a Director of Electronics Manufacturing to add to their team outside of Cleveland, Ohio. Reporting to the CEO, your primary responsibility will be to lead and supervise production planning, ensuring manufacturing operational excellence in strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). This key position demands a proven track record in operational excellence and expertise in managing manufacturing operations, particularly in highly regulated industries. Aside from the main duties, our client is looking for an individual with excellent communication skills and a collaborative, hands-on approach to team management. Electronics Manufacturing Director Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational excellence strategies
• Optimize production planning for quality and demand fulfillment
• Ensure strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Lead SMT manufacturing, technology, and quality control efforts
• Manage and inspire a team to achieve production objectives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for process improvement
• Stay updated on industry regulations and trends
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
• Drive initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and productivity
• Participate in strategic planning discussions with the executive team

Electronics Manufacturing Director Qualifications

• 5 years of recent electronics manufacturing experience required
• 3 years of management experience required
• SMT experience required
• Strong knowledge and experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Experience operating in an ISO-certified facility required
• Hands-on, proactive leadership style required
