Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technicians I-III

Years of Experience: 1-5 years

• Previous  experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred.

Minimum Educational Requirements:  High School diploma, Associate degree or certification preferred

Job Requirements: 

• 1-5 plus years of progressive work experience, preferably in pharmaceutical/manufacturing or as lab technician
• Great communication in both verbal and written and collaboration skills.
• Must be able to perform basic math
• Extensive experience in performing quality control procedures and meeting production standards
• Working knowledge of computers and office software
• Strong technical and mechanical aptitude
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Keen attention to detail and problem-solving techinques
• Must be flexible and adaptable in our fast paced/changing environment
• Have a strong sense of accountability and a safety approach
• For senior level positions minimum of three (3) years experience in pharmaceutical processes (blending, granulation, milling, compression, coating etc) preferred
• Must be capable of lifting up to 35 pounds

Core Responsibilities:

• At the direction of the supervisor and manager, Manufacturing Technicians are responsible for managing and providing  efficient set up / tear down, manufacture and cleaning of all equipment and processes associated with manufacturing operations for the production rooms
• Responsible for adhering to policies and procedures with an emphasis on regulatory related processes such as SOPs, cGMP and safety in compliance with the CFRs and meets the business needs of the organization
• Adhere to all AustinPx safety and manufacturing protocols and identifying / communicating the necessary adjustments to address potential safety concerns
• Execute controlled manufacturing activities
• Assemble and operate equipment
• Troubleshoot and perform maintenance on equipment
• Clean equipment, utensils and facility
• Dispense controlled materials for controlled activities and testing 
• Assist with warehouse stocking, shipping and receiving
• Execute qualification protocols as assigned, depending on experience
•  All other duties as assigned
