Manufacturing Director oversees manufacturing operations and the production management and supervisory teams for a plant or unit. Incorporates organization-wide operational safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and cost control policies and programs into manufacturing processes. Being a Manufacturing Director monitors production metrics, responds to and resolves problems, and recommends process improvements, new technologies, and methods to maximize operational efficiency. Collaborates with leaders to manage and resolve workforce or labor issues and develop long-term solutions. Additionally, Manufacturing Director implements long-term plans for facilities, equipment, materials, technology, and workforce resources to maintain manufacturing capacity and processes that support business goals. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Manufacturing Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Manufacturing Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Quality Manager - Manufacturing
Multi-site manufacturing company, looking for an experienced and hands-on Quality Manager to ensure that products meet customer requirements, ISO 9001:2015 compliance with FMEA/Control Plan leadership and complaint resolution.
Requirements
Experience With:
1. Maintaining ISO 9001:2015 system requirements.
2. Print interpretation.
3. Background work in PPAP, Control Plans, FMEA and Process Capability tools.
4. Corrective Action Problem Solving using Root Cause analysis, implementation, and verification activities.
Responsibilities
Work with associate teams and external auditors to maintain work instructions and forms for products or processes which meet all internal and external system requirements.
Leadership assistance with PPAP team organization for final customer submissions, including FMEA.
Train and supervise inspectors, technicians and other staff to provide guidance and feedback.
Assist in product development teams.
Inspect and audit process outputs for comparison to requirements.
Maintain accurate documentation/records and perform/train basic statistical analysis.
Management Review.
Identify LEAN opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient procedures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
