Manufacturing Director oversees manufacturing operations and the production management and supervisory teams for a plant or unit. Incorporates organization-wide operational safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and cost control policies and programs into manufacturing processes. Being a Manufacturing Director monitors production metrics, responds to and resolves problems, and recommends process improvements, new technologies, and methods to maximize operational efficiency. Collaborates with leaders to manage and resolve workforce or labor issues and develop long-term solutions. Taylor Oilfield Mfg. Inc. is looking for an experienced QC Inspector w/ 2- Minimum yrs. experience in a machine shop. Requirements include inspection on mill and lathe machining, API connections, downhole tools, & stenciling of tools.
Other specific requirements to be eligible for employment.
Familiar with API Spec 7-1 and DS-1 specifications.
Must be able to read and understand complex machine drawings.
Must be able to use and set all shop instruments, OD micrometers, ID micrometers, Dial Bore gauges,
Taper, Lead and Thread Height gauges.
No bench inspectors need apply.
Additionally applicant must be a team player.
Must be willing to undergo back ground check, drug screen and physical pre to hiring.
