Manufacturing Director oversees manufacturing operations and the production management and supervisory teams for a plant or unit. Incorporates organization-wide operational safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and cost control policies and programs into manufacturing processes. Being a Manufacturing Director monitors production metrics, responds to and resolves problems, and recommends process improvements, new technologies, and methods to maximize operational efficiency. Collaborates with leaders to manage and resolve workforce or labor issues and develop long-term solutions. Additionally, Manufacturing Director implements long-term plans for facilities, equipment, materials, technology, and workforce resources to maintain manufacturing capacity and processes that support business goals. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Manufacturing Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Manufacturing Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The incumbent will play a crucial role in the installation, repair, and maintenance of all production and plant equipment, ensuring seamless operations and optimal functionality.

    2 available positions 1st shift and 2nd shift


    Essential Functions:

    • Install, maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair a diverse range of production and factory auxiliary equipment, encompassing hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical process control equipment.
    • Conduct horizontal welding and fabricate with acetylene and arc welders, including material heating and cutting; proficiently handle simple fabrication projects.
    • Interpret and work from basic drawings, designs, schematics, sketches, and written or verbal instructions, performing essential maintenance, repairs, and fabrications.
    • Execute maintenance, inspection, and repair tasks on mechanical and electrical drive components.
    • Perform preventative maintenance activities, including lubrication, adjustment, inspection, cleaning, and repairs of plant equipment.
    • Utilize various hand, power tools, and test instruments following safe and proper usage practices.
    • Adhere to proper safety practices, precautions, and procedures, such as confined space entry, handling gases, and rigging assistance for heavy machinery movement.
    • Complete meticulous work process documentation as required.
    • Adhere strictly to lock-out/tag-out procedures and lock storage policies.

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Comply with all safety rules and policies, promptly reporting any unsafe conditions to the supervisor.Maintain a tidy and organized work area.
    • Participate actively in all required training sessions.
    • Undertake additional duties as assigned.


    Requirements

    1. High school diploma or equivalent.

    2. Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or closely related environment.

    3. Possess excellent mechanical and technical skills.

    4. Ability to obtain equipment certification.

    5. Capability to lift, position, or move tools or materials in challenging positions (up to 50 lbs).

    6. Effective collaboration with a diverse group of individuals with varying abilities and backgrounds.

    7. Efficiently work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

    8. Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and associated materials.
