Manufacturing Director oversees manufacturing operations and the production management and supervisory teams for a plant or unit. Incorporates organization-wide operational safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and cost control policies and programs into manufacturing processes. Being a Manufacturing Director monitors production metrics, responds to and resolves problems, and recommends process improvements, new technologies, and methods to maximize operational efficiency. Job Description: This position is responsible for supporting and overseeing all aspects of quality and controls which are put in place to ensure the integrity and safety of our product. It is the responsibility of the Quality Assurance Technician to work directly with Managerment to uphold and review each process, policy and procedure.
Duties/ Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Review, update and distribute all SOP’s under respective manager’s department
- Must be able to work in coordination with operations and production.
- Ensure issues are investigated and resolved with necessary corrective and preventative actions.
- Develop and validate SOP’s under guidance of QA Manager
- Enter data into OMS
- Promote quality by enforcing/brought to the attention of any issues that could be potentially harmful to the product itself.
- GMP walk throughs and audits
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of all critical control points.
- Calibrate and validate all measuring equipment
- Document control and filing
- Analyze , investigate, and conclude issues pertaining to methodology of identifying issues pertaining to food safety.
- Contribute to hazard analysis and execution of plan.
