Manufacturing Director oversees manufacturing operations and the production management and supervisory teams for a plant or unit. Incorporates organization-wide operational safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and cost control policies and programs into manufacturing processes. Being a Manufacturing Director monitors production metrics, responds to and resolves problems, and recommends process improvements, new technologies, and methods to maximize operational efficiency. Collaborates with leaders to manage and resolve workforce or labor issues and develop long-term solutions. Additionally, Manufacturing Director implements long-term plans for facilities, equipment, materials, technology, and workforce resources to maintain manufacturing capacity and processes that support business goals. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Manufacturing Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Manufacturing Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Job Description:
The Information Technology Technician Level I deals with computer and networking problems by communicating with users and resolving their issues. They will install hardware, software, and peripherals; run diagnostic software; accommodate user requests for computer hardware and software; and other basic help desk functions for local network. This position will also liaison between external IT team and users as well as support management on external network. Will assist others in IT Department on projects, as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Perform basic help desk troubleshooting
- Perform remote assistance to resolve computer issues
- Setup and configure printers, computers, laptops, etc
- Troubleshoot computer and printer issues on-site and off-site
- Return user calls/emails in a timely manner
- Keep notes on tasks to be able to refer back to at a later date
- Assist IT Director in tasks and projects
- Manage daily, weekly or monthly goals set by management
Skills:
- Experience troubleshooting computer software and hardware issues
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
- Experience troubleshooting internet, wireless and wired network connections
- Basic understanding of networking is a plus
- Ability to troubleshoot a problem until it is resolved
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
- Strong problem solving and organizational skills
- Close attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Interpersonal, verbal, and communication skills are essential
- Ability to work independently and multi-task in order to achieve company goals
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 – 40 per week
