The Director of Manufacturing provides leadership and innovation toward the achievement of the highest possible level of excellence in education and training within the college’s programs related to the regional manufacturing industry. These programs include but are not limited to Industrial Electronics, Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Modern Manufacturing Technology, and varying levels of incumbent worker training as requested by industry. This role positions the Director of Manufacturing as a key participant in all manufacturing related education and training efforts provided within the College's Technical Services and Workforce Development departments. The Director of Manufacturing should demonstrate knowledge of college programs and operate effectively with business and industry within the manufacturing sector.
SALARY SCHEDULE PLACEMENT: Range of $76,089 - $117,986 based upon the Alabama Community College System and Shelton State Community College Salary Schedule C2 to be determined by the applicant’s education and years of applicable experience. The letters should be on official letterhead and contain an authorized personnel signature. The College’s official employment verification form is also acceptable and is available upon request.
