Summary: Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with extensive experience in improving efficiency and establishing quality assurance standards.
Responsibilities:
Study maintenance, production and other operations to establish standard production rate and improve efficiency.
Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas to determine quality and reliability standards.
Verify records adhere to quality assurance specifications by reading worker logs, product processing sheets, and specification sheets.
Plan work assignments considering worker performance, machine capacity, production schedules, and anticipated delays.
Prepare charts, graphs, diagrams to illustrate workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling, and machine utilization.
Verify equipment is being operated according to quality assurance standards by observing workers.
Determine time involved and fatigue rate in tasks by observing workers using timing devices.
Evaluate data and write reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
Requirements:
Creativity with strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawing, schematics
Previous experience with CAD or similar software related to the engineering field
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
5 - 7 years of relevant experience.
Pay: 50-60
